My Resume
dance teachingI aim to create a classroom learning environment that allows all students to achieve their best. I believe in maintaining my consistency and high expectations to achieve this.

As part of the fourth-year course at Deakin University, we have been working closely with the VIT standards, unpacking them and developing our own responses to them. As part of this, I created a research project on Classroom Management Strategies which I used a website and a blog to display my reflections and ideas as I developed this area.

Some direct links:

Reflection on Development - this page, apart from my blog posts is the main place where I wrote my reflections on the development of my professional knowledge and practice.

Appendices - This is where I put my notes of what was particularly interesting and relevant to me during my research, and in Appendix 4 I created a heirachy of some classroom behaviour issues and appropriate consequences/responses to them. By distilling all my ideas into this list, I further strengthened my consistency in dealing with certain issues.
